Academy at the Lakes is a coeducational independent college-preparatory school serving PK3-12 across three Land O'Lakes campuses (Pasco County) and is the largest independent school in Pasco. The academic program is divided into Early Childhood (PK3-K), Lower (1-4), Middle (5-8), and Upper (9-12) Divisions. Signature programs include AP Capstone (College Board-approved), a House System, World Travel/Ecotourism, a Medicine Seminar, Public Speaking, and an all-school musical. Athletics field 39 teams at the MS, JV, and Varsity levels with a no-cut policy and ~80% participation in grades 6-12; sports include basketball, cheerleading, cross-country, football, golf, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, track, volleyball, and weightlifting. 2026-2027 tuition: Early Childhood $20,950, Lower $22,600, Middle $26,600-$27,900, Upper $32,650. The school accepts FES-EO, FTC, Hope, and FES-UA Step Up scholarships and reports 100% college acceptance.
