About
Regis High School is an all-boys Catholic Jesuit college-preparatory high school on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, founded in 1914 by an anonymous benefactor. Regis is uniquely tuition-free for all admitted students, funded entirely by the original endowment and ongoing alumni philanthropy. Admission is highly selective and limited to Catholic boys from the New York metropolitan area; applicants take a Regis-specific entrance exam in addition to the TACHS. The classical Jesuit curriculum requires four years of Latin and Greek and emphasizes the humanities, with extensive Advanced Placement offerings. Graduates matriculate to a wide range of selective colleges and universities.
